Don't rush it, don't feel as though you have to. Give it some time.
I've been in this situation many times, and I've always done the wise thing and left it, and it has always worked out. Not that I am too afraid to do anything about the way I felt, but I just did not want to risk the friendships.
Although, if she is your best friend, and she has been for ages, maybe you should drop a hint... for instance, "I really like a real good friend of mine but i dont want to stuff our friendship, what do i do?"

Heh. I think it's pretty clear Fullarton Sour has very little ideal about the real world.
I think Millwall would be an ideal place for him to live - he'd fit in nicely with all the other knuckle draggers.

Yes of course topics go off teh rails occasionally but there is such a thing called thread hijacking to throw personal abuse.
Someone has posted a thread asking for genuine advice and some great advice was given, but hijacking ruins threads and in many cases moderators have to come along and clean them up and get them back on topic.
Im sure many people have had the problem mentioned here and would like to see other peoples opinion, why should a few ruin for the rest?
O and calling people morons for engaging in mud slinging and personal abuse has never been a banable or repremandable offence. Neither did I single any one person out.
But by all means keep on the lookout for those "moderator jabs" you seem to enjoy.
