So has anyone played the demo?

Downloaded it this morning and just gave it a quick play. Seems like old school RE. Graphics are nice and the 3D effects are good but I couldn't help being disappointed with the monsters. They look like shit and I'd much rather ZOMBIES! LOL.

Yup, it looked quite pretty and all. Obviously with most 3DS/DS first person games the camera mechanics aren't very good and once again this was prevelant here. Though the (ridiculous looking) extra analog nubstick attachment would probably fix that.

Trading my 3ds towards a Vita but will definitely be picking this up when i buy the inevitable 3ds revision with dual slide pads and better battery life in the near future (wouldn't be surprised for something to be shown at E3 tbh).

Demo was a step in the right direction after the crap that was RE5

Yeah i got it, the story was good but not great.

Raid mode is where it's at, Co-op (Can do single player to) almost like mercenaries on resident evil 5 but it's got a shop and upgrade's and epic weapons, really cool. Worth picking up for raid mode alone.

If you do get it it is much better with the circle pad pro. The extra pad and shoulder buttons make it control like an ordinary PS3/XBOX control.

I'm not enjoying it. I've played about 3 and a 1/2 hours and it just seems vanilla.

The graphics are impressive though.

Turns out i wont be trading my 3DS in for a Vita due to no stock available at any of my local GAME stores. Will be picking this up in the next couple of days now

Anyone used the circle pad pro yet? looking at grabbing that too, just hoping more games take advantage of it in the future (i know MGS will but im getting that on PS3 in the HD collection)

From all reports it's not that special.

It does turn the game into a proper 3rd person action game. But without it just means it's slightly clunkier to play, not exactly making it some huge innovation as they obviously had to still make it play with and without the circle pad anyway.

Also, the actual pad is ****ing HUGE. It adds way more bulk to the 3DS and definitely turns it into something that's not a 'pocket' machine. If you're looking for portability, this isn't what you'd want.

Although it is said to work perfectly in terms of latency and all of that.

Vita can't even get a Resident Evil port, glad I traded it in, developers don't want anything to do with it.

Now to decide whether to get this on Wii U or PS3

I hated Revelations. Absolutely hated it.

The final boss was a bad ass though.
