this really *****es me
we have some gr8 marking forwards like richo and otto and even the resting stafford, so how much better would they be if we actually had structure in our forward line and went to these guys with PRECISION and whilst they are isolated 1-1??? instead of this baloney of bombing it long and relying on our "crumbers" to fed of any scraps............
fact is we dont have a notable crumber, and fact is our forward line is simply too crowded and very easy to break down, the free man kills us (and richo) and yet we cannot work the Alternate loose man in our defence
how irresistable would richo be leading out to well weighted kicks? there aint a backman in the league who can go with him on the lead, who can stop otto islolated and leaping at the ball? so why the feck do we continue to talk abt "bombing it long to our talls?????????????????????? we must utilise this hugeadvantage over most other clubs, and yet we continually have one of the worst attacks in the afl. NOT GOOD ENUFF!!!!

with the midfield, our gameplan is so bloody predictable, give the ball to cameron, tivendale, bowden who can kick to deliver, it doesnt take einstein to figure if you play that trio tight, our delivery suffers immeasurably............
in all, we need to stop being a 'dumb' footballing side and play hard uninhibited footy, like we did in frawleys 1st season with all thoses injuries. Just put the players in and let them do the job, tivendale went from a fringe player to one of our main midfielders simply b/c he was thrown to the wolves (ala coghlan last season) and played out the second half of the season against top notch opponents in the middles where it was hot...........i bet that if rodan is thrown to the wolves this season instead of this burst player off the bench rubbish he will establish himself as our number1 in-and-under player. Throw out the cotton wool and teach these young blokes to be MEN!
sorry bout the length, its just im very frustrated that collingwood a team who i believe has LESS talent than us, is playing such a good brand of footy, why? b/c the youngsters like clokey are thrown in and expected to do a mans job! and they feckin do it!!!
