Sad news that former head trainer, Ben Bradley has passed away.

Great servant of the club over many, many years.

I got know Ben rather well through my involvment with the club. Always a gentleman. Few would have given more hours of service to the Bulldogs. Through and through.

It's these types of guys you never hear about, the blokes who really do the work to get the 22 on the park every weekend. It's a good thing that he's being recognised, condolences to all concerned.

RIP Big Ben. A true bastion of the FFC and one of natures finest gentlemen. Will cherish the memories of the after match drinks in the trainers rooms years ago.

Pretty sure it was Ben Bradley who took me into the bulldogs rooms for EJ's 299th game. The VFL had buggered things up and everyone thought it was his 300th. RIP.

He was a giant of a man with a strong hand shake, an absolute stalwart of our Club and will be missed.
