Our RL made an awesome contribution last season, and they are going to get opportunities again with Hayden and Mora being injured and opening up spots. I guess the main list is going to get the first opportunity to get selected and Mz for Hayden does not look too shabby at all. Lower seems ready to from his bio as is Pearce of course. Buca?

I am wondering how likely we are this year to dip into the Rookies? We just seem to have options on the Main List who can step in.

With Mora's injury, we'll be looking for an upgrade. I am thinking that Lower will be the one to get the call up.

Lower will get first stab, Pearce, Buco & Sibo will also get chances. There'll definitely be no lack of chances for upgrading rookie players next year.

I agree Nickos. I think that we will bring in Lower for Morabito. I would like to see Sibosado to cover Hayden (Althought Mzungo will slide straight in) and beef up the height and speed of our defence.
Pearce seems to be having a good pre season and is looking trim and strong and will also add midfield depth. Buco sounds like he is finally feeling good after playing or being injured for years and I expect him to do very well.

All in all I expect 4 players to get exposure from the Rookie List, it is still as strong as any other teams in the competition. Although it would have to have an AMAZING year to equal the amazing output of last years list.

The thing is, Rookies only really get upgraded if they are going to play (you also have the nominated Rookie available). So promoting another puts them ahead of a Main List fringe player such as Walters, Bollie, Crichton or Mellington as examples.
