Graham elevated for Polo

Does that mean all of our rookies have been elevated?

Good on Gus for getting selected (even though i don't think he'll play). He must be showing some promising signs in the magoos to get the call up.

Anyone know whats wrong with Hydey? (I know it says knee, but how serious?)

i think hydey hurt his knee at training yest, dont think its an acl or anything, however not sure how long he will miss.

Nope, Tas Clingen still not elevated, the only one left.

'Gus will play. Its a waste of time not to play him.

Hyde hurt his knee at training yesterday and limped off, the extent of the damage is expected to keep him out for 1-2 weeks atm.

Out: White, Howat, Moore to make the final 22

You might be right, but it makes for a big team..OK, actually a more 'normal' sized team, but considering we've been undersized for several weeks, that's a big change.

3 ruckmen seems a bit much though...Perhaps Richo is in doubt and they're thinking of playing Simmo as FF?

Yeah I wouldnt mind changing it leaving Moore in (Even though White deserves it more I think Wallace is giving him his final shot) and one of Howat or White going out and Patto or Simmo not playing, one is spent from relentless work beyond his experienced and the other is recovering and not up to a full game.

Take your pick.

I think this is how the team may end up. Patto to be given a rest and asked to play CHF this week so we have lead up target also making the Roos take Brown or Petrie from down forward to add height to their backline.

Jackson to line up on the wing to then take a player in a tagging role most likely Harris.

Tivendale pushed to a HFF to give us another goal scoring option.

Simmonds and Graham to share the ruck duties as we also have Patto their to fall back on if need be in fact can rotate Simmo and Patto through CHF.

Jack to be rewarded to good form in the past 3-4 weeks and given a bot of a run at senior level.

Moore and Hughes given the opportunity to again press their claims for a spot by again putting in a good performance at Coburg this weekend.

White unlucky to miss out but I would like to keep Edwards in the side for the rest of the season and fast track his development.

just medial should only be 1 or 2

what else would it mean

patto is stuffed and needs a break and simmo clearly not fit enough atm
patto had a corked thigh last game and iced it and had it strapped straight after the game but i am confident he will play

Moore had to be selected on the extended interchange, other then Jack he has been our best over the last month at Coburg. He could be bought back in as an extra tall defender after last week, if this is the case I would have preffered McGuane to come in.

I hope Jack is selected but it wouldn't suprise me if he isn't. Huges doesn't warrent selection and either does Graham IMO. We will find out in 2 hours but I think the final team will be:

OUT: Hyde(Knee), White (omit)
IN: Riewoldt, Moore

I think it'll be

IN: Riewoldt, Graham

Out: Hyde, Patto/Simmo (Whoever is more sore, but if they both feel alright, drop White and rotate Simmo, Patto and Gus through Bench/Ruck/FP)

Please no!

Surely there is no way we would play Graham, Simmonds and Pattison in the same game. This leaves you with one excellent but underdone player (Snake), 1 improver but who has still ordinary skills and is slowish (Patto), and 1 player how has never player AFL football before and will struggle at this level.

Graham was pumped around the ground last week, he shouldn't be selected, because he simply has earned the right

Simmo is a more then capable pinch hitting foward while Patto rucks, but there is no point playing 3 ruckman. If we do, we no we are tanking
