Looking at Boomer/Fyfe/Jelwood/JPK VC, Beams/Pendles C.

No Idea this week!

My guns this week are Pendles/Fyfe/Libba/Selwood.... possibly Buddy? Goes big against Port according to supercoach.

My opponent will be 100% locked in with Fyfe as captain, boomer VC vs GWS. He's not really the kind of guy to loophole though so probably looking at Fyfe. I need to make 50 points up on projected!! Argh!

Ward VC, Beams C for me, I don't have Fyfe or Rocky sadly. If I put Libba on the bench with the E and ZOB on the ground I will be able to C ZOB for Ward's score and still receive Libba's bench score right?

Well, the Miles VC 'Hail Mary' failed spectacularly last weekend so I think I'll go with Selwood VC, Hanley C. Kerridge is more likely to tag Rockliff than Hanley, right?

Hibberd & Ess playing Fri night doesn't work.

So wait & see out of all your non-playing players, whose team plays late in round (Ade & Bris on Sunday would be good), but they aren't named in 25.

Remember a situation, where I think it was Menzel from Carl, was used as someone's C loophole, only to get late Sunday call up & played. Giving SC team 2x Menzel's sub score. IIRC

Can still attempt it with ZOB if he's named as emergency, but if he's a late in you'll have to forego your VC's score and lock in a captain from ZOB's game or later (still lots of good options like Danger, Sloane, Jacobs, Rocky, Hanley, Libba, Pendles, Beams).

Is it risky to go Beams as C? In my leagues, projected scores are so close (50 - 100pts), wonder if this is a good POD?

Or just go safe with good old Pend/Fyfe?

Cox may not even get a game this week, he is still under a concussion cloud.

His farewell game will be Rd22 versus the Dees at home.

But if ZOB is the only potential non-starter then it's worth going with him, just have to be on the ball to move the C if he's a late in.

Was thinking Fyfe into Rocky, but Fyfe at Simmonds doesn't fill me with confidence so I'll go Selwood into Rocky or Pendles and make a call on Sun depending on opponents and where I'm at.
