What to do this round.

Well, I need to drop Shiel because I judged him based on a two game sample size as opposed to thinking long term as to whether he could sustain 130 or not. Broadbent is on 50 or so at 1/4, which is 200 points for the game, and that is obviously sustainable, so

Shiel -> Broadbent

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Reality, almost certainly a stand pat round if injuries can be avoided.

Griffen and Hibberd are my biggest concerns, happy enough with the rest of my team.

Hibberd is probably out for me, will look to bring in Smith. Will hold Griffen, but could do a luxury trade to Wines, but will probably look to save the cash.

Hibberd is fine, he scored 84 with Armfield on him most of the day, if he's your biggest problem then you're doing alright.

Miller (probs) to Sloane.

Don't know on the others yet. I hope this cash strategy pays off it's already cost me 109 points plus whatever the difference is between Sloane and Fyfe.

What was his excuse from the first 2 rounds.

I might give him another week, but he is well and truley on my shit list at the moment, Armfield or not.

Round 1, his whole team ran out of legs after half time due to not having a pre-season plus the weather was shit, round 2, still scored in the 80s which is usually the low end of his scoring, today, was tagged and still scored 84. I'll eat a turd sandwich if he isn't a top 6 defender by the end of the season.

I brought in Shiel as well and while I'm obviously disappointed, I can still see him averaging 110+ for the year and people who didn't get him will be disappointed.

You need to reassess your expectations. Only one played averaged 130+ last year.

Not worried about injury concerns with Pendles?
Not right now. I've just watched Wines, Gray, Griffen return 70. Pendles injured gave 107. Ask me Monday.
