So is everyone bringing Thomas straight in?

Dwyer>Thomas at this stage.

Everybody's so reactionary lol... omg thomas had a good game I'll trade him in.

Lol these threads are getting earlier and earlier.....

Actually this one is later than the Round 6 trades thread. Will consider Thomas however I only have 1 spot left in my forward line and that will probably be for Buddy.

After missing the pre season and having some juicy price drops people want to bring him now that he's working into form and particularly because his price will only go up now.

59,24,58,150...what a gun that Thomas is...not.
Do you really think he will average 110+? At 420k he won't exactly be a cash cow.

The 24 was a sub-affected score, he was a premo last year, no reason why he couldn't do it again.

Premiums are there to get you points, not make cash. Thomas has been a premo before and can potentially be one again now that he's finding form.

Just building fitness and had 34 possies tonight. Looks superbly priced and very sharp.

Gutted, about 100k short of Dwyer to Daisy.
Worth culling a cow early to bring in a potential 100+ avg player?
Depends on the cow? I think Thomas is going to be a rare find this year, not many like him it seems that you can grab for that value and most likely keep at years end.

Last year he only averaged 96. Only in 2011 was he 'premium' when he averaged 109 but even that won't place him in the top 10 mids come end of the year.

He's a forward, 95+ is a premium average for a forward.

But it would easily make him one of the top 10 forwards.

He was also playing half back flank against one of the more ordinary teams in the competition, in one of the more ordinary games of the season. Against a better side he would of got a forward tag or been forced into the middle or up forward. I'll keep an eye on him but I'm not rushing in to get him.

Was always going to kill us lol, does every time! don't get to excited.

My forward line has been complete since round 3 :eek: so I really don't have room for him. He is great value but if he isn't better than any of my current forwards then I don't really see the point of trading him into my midfield. Good on you if you can get him in but personally with my 6 gun forwards I'd rather save my money in order to get players like Birchall, Swallow, Selwood and Swan instead. That said if Chapman misses again next week I may rage trade him down to Thomas!

Yeah Chapman is annoying me, I know they are going to rest him a bit as well, so tossing up whether to get Thomas in mids or FWD. FWD line is pretty solid apart from Chappy who keeps missing!

Trades already locked in :rainbow:;) :

Rd7 ($410k)
Dwyer -> Winderlich
Heath -> M. Murphy

Rd8 ($164k)
Hill -> Franklin
Neade -> Lamb

Rd9 ($134k)
Jäger -> Priddis
Pittard -> Rookie

Rd10 ($254k)
Wines -> Ablett
Macaffer -> Rookie

Gives me an almost complete team before Rd10; ~$84k; 13 trades left; with Goodes, Ward, Leuenberger and Martin as my weakest players; Winderlich as F7/M9. :spades:
