My main reasoning is for trading in Yarran before his bubble is I am extremely sure that both Yarran and Sidebottom are both going to be better cash cows than Macaffer. So basically if I don't get Yarran now then I can't get both of Yarran and Sidebottom, who I predict will be the best cows.

Also taking into consideration Yarran/Sidebottom's bubble is going to be at the exact time, as Sidebottom is more than likely to debut this week is already my max of 2 trades when they are ready to be traded in.

Yarran could very likely post an 100+ score especially against Fremantle, whilst I don't believe Macaffer against the all firing Saints. I'm also in the scenario in which I got to get rid of Hentschel this week, otherwise I cop a doughnut.

Without knowing whether or not Skipworth is playing next week or in the future, I'd much rather be stuck with starting Yarran than Macaffer.

So you will definitely bring in yarran? what will your forward line look like this week then?

Still have decided who to bring in for brown with ten or so mins to go:eek::confused:

My forwardline is now currently:
Chapman, Deledio, Franklin, Higgins, Krakouer, Ziebell, M.Brown, Yarran and Skipworth.

Just did the trade, it felt right as Hentschel shouldn't play seniors for at least another month whereas M.Brown could possibly return in a much shorter time. I'll deal with M.Brown later, but I guess only time will tell in determining whether or not this was the right trade.

Good on you for taking a risk 30 Spartans:thumbsu:. I ended up bringing in the obvious choice. Brown > Macaffer.

I can always bring Yarran or Sidebottom in at a later date.

Current Forward line is:

Riewoldt, Pavlich, Deledio, Higgins, Ziebs, Warren:(, Macaffer:eek:
(Lucas & Houlihan)

Depending on who is named I will bring in Buddy next week.

Lets hope just hope it turns out to be a calculated one. I'm officially defying one of the golden-rule trades and putting myself out to dry on one of the "worst trade threads" but if he gets me a few 80+ scores in his first two games I'll be ecstatic.

I would be very surprised if Yarran scores more than 50.

Same. I think 50 is possible.. 60 maybe.. 70 very much doubt it

Macaffer only slightly less than the possiblities of yarran and seeing as I need an onfield I'm going with someone with cash and will score ok.

Yarren is over hyped and could be good for a game if the hype reaches the blues player's... but I really can't see him being great. He hasn't had any experience in afl yet.

There is a reason why carlton's number 1 draft pick hasn't played until after garlett robinson, jacobs etc.. (i know they play different positions, but the blues wont play 5 rookies at once),

Yarran is a long term project. Next year will some some incremental improvement and 2011 he will be a great player but i would be surprised if he gets more than 5 games this year but we shall see.

hodge by a country mile. 4 players everybody should have by seasons end are ablett, franklin, judd and hodge. they are clearly the 4 best players in the league and a class above all others. however, enright wouldn't be a bad choice.

i went:
H.Skipworth > J.Roughead: even though skip had more $$ to make, rough was at bargain basement price and should kick a ton.
M.Clarke > G.Birchall: i thought i could make marty my unique pick, should have locked in grant as a keeper from the start. Lesson learnt!!

Anyone that has traded in Hodge might be in for a world of pain. Especially if he misses a few.....

I agree while he is fit, he is in the top 5 players, but he looks out of all sorts and i have waited for that 1 big game to announce that he's back, and i am yet to see it.

I brought in Lockyer for my SC and Mackie for DT this week as upgrades. Hodge might go under 400K at this rate!
