Go and pinch someone from the epl they play more games than most comps

When a player gets injured they always seem to pour water on it. Maybe this is something we should look into.

Just so I understand jmac, in your opinion how would anyone have prevented injuries to:
Elliott
Swan
Ramsay
Scharenberg
Moore
Fasolo
Who are all currently injured together and which represents 27% of our best 22.
What could Davoren have done to prevent these injuries?

I don't think we could have prevented any of those injuries and I don't blame Davros for that. My view is that our list is not fit enough to play the style of footy the coach wants. This is why I predict that Davros will be moved on at the end of the season.

But that doesn't take into account those injuries.
Those injured players may well have been "fit enough to play the style of play the coach wants"
I was trying to make the same point to someone else the other day, can't remember who it was now (went straight over his head anyway), but you cannot expect Crocker to come into the side and play like Swan, he is neither smart enough nor fit enough.
The same can be said for the others, the fact is player number 35 on our list will never be as good (or fit) as player number 3 or 4, because if he was, he would no longer be player number 35.

You may well be right. I guess we will know more at the end of the season. My feeling though is that there will be a number of changes made to the footy department.

I too, suspect you are right but I'm not sure it will be a huge turnover I think it will be 1 or 2 Assistant Coaches and perhaps some additional Fitness/Spots Science people employed.
I also suspect some areas of responsibility will be moved from the current holder to a new/other person

BTW, I agree that there is nothing wrong with doing a review, it is the right and proper thing to do

Really stupid to say Scharenberg (4 games) and Ramsay (7 games) are best 22 players. Fact is, we don't know and you are just speculating. We hope they are.. but they can't get on the park so we have no idea. Until they can get on the park and can play consistent enough good footy to replace incumbents.. they are not best 22.
Your point that Buck's gameplan requires all best 22 players to be fit and on the park for an entire year in order for it to be successful, and that players outside the top 25 will not be fit or smart enough to implement it.. were that to be in any way a valid viewpoint; just highlights that the style of play and gameplan is achievable and doomed to fail.... unless you think we can have a season with zero injuries. Weird when people can't see that the detail of their arguments ultimately undermine the very point of view they are arguing.
