What a legend is nick_savo.
Here is his story.
Round 1. He was away in the Northen Territiory for a couple of weeks, i was in charge of his great team. Lockout came and passed....opps i forgot to name emergencies for him. NG Brown and Cox started on the field. When i called him up he was filthy, called me every word under the sun.
Was ranked around the 10,000 mark with a 2063.
Round 2. Nick was back to take back his team. Traded out Brown and in came Brennan. At this stage i was really happy because his team was falling apart
, there was no way he was going to challenge me for the premiership.
Not sure on the ranking but scored 2218.
Round 3. Nickmade trade of the season this week, out with Griffen, in with Malceski. I still thought i had a chance at winning as this stage, so suggested Malceski. We both had Griffen who we traded out. I went with the sercure trade and got Lewis.
Scored a impressive 2285. The warning signs start to appear.
Round 4. Where it all started. Out with Waite and Maxwell, in with Hawkins and McLeod. I couldnt belive where he was at this stage. Ranked around the 90 mark. At the start of the season he said he would have been happy with a top 1000 placing.
Big score this week, 2239 and ranked 40th.
Round 5. He could not belive where he was at, i couldnt stop congratulating him. We were both amazed as we were talking on the phone. My mouth hit the floor. Traded out Cloke and brought in Murphy.
Scores a 2292 and is now ranked 9th.
Round 6. We were still in shock about the top 50 ranking, but now its gone to top 10. I was impressed. I seriously thought at the start of the year his team was shit. Dead set. I thought it would struggle the whole way through. He proved me wrong. While i was at around the 2000 mark, he was sitting on a top 10 placing. Out with Selwood, in with Pettard.
Scored a personal best this week, 2441 and is ranked 2nd.
Round 7. I couldnt belive it when i open the page this morning. First. What a champion. The first morning we havent talked on the phone aswell which was ashame. I couldnt belive my eyes, still cant.
RANKED 1ST IN THE WORLD!!!
Nick, you are a dead set legend, hopefully you can keep it up....good luck mate, all the best for the rest of the year
