Key Geelong defender Matthew Scarlett will miss the next two matches after choosing to accept the two-match suspension handed down by the match review panel for his level four striking offence against Kangaroo Leigh Harding.
Scarlett was awarded 325 demerit points for his actions against Harding, equating to a three-match suspension which is reduced to two with an early plea.
Scarlett has no applicable good or bad record and contesting the charge at the tribunal could have resulted in an upgrade and further suspension.
There will be at least one case heard at Tuesday night's tribunal, with Geelong captain Steven King set to contest the $1200 wrestling fine handed down to him from the Cats' fiery clash with the Roos.
King was charged with a first offence for wrestling midfielder Shannon Grant and could have opted to accept a $900 fine with an early plea.
Meanwhile, young Cat defender Will Slade has accepted his $900 wrestling fine - reduced from $1200 with the early plea - for his involvement in a scuffle with Harding. It is the youngster's first wrestling offence.
