I saw a map of all ring roads linking by 2010, suppose depends on Government on the day

Labour will always push back such projects.
They fail to see how infrastructure significantly improves industry and the environment and choose to use their resources by filling 150,000 square metres of CBD office space with public office workers who do nothing.
Back to the road network, I caught a bus about 5 years ago when a mentally handicapped man got on and he sat down next to an older bloke and started waffling on about this and that.
He appologised to the bloke for not being able to curtail his constant talking and the old bloke was quite accomodating.
Then the mentally handicapped guy began talking about Melbourne's road network and how it is going to link up and form a massive ring road of freeways and he proceeded to come up with this idea:
They should block off the freeways for a day and have a massive road race around the freeways!
Remains to this day the best idea I have ever heard!!
