Match committee gets half the blame anytime we lose (Bucks cops the other half) so only fair to give them a pat on the back when they totally nail it like this week.

Fas, Adams, White, Caff and Marsh all performed fantastically today.

I liked 4 of those selections because it was about our future potential, we controlled most of the game through the midfield and Caff was able to them stifle Shaw.

The selections for once seemed to focus on team balance and process rather than the result.

You only drop players when there are players good enough to replace them. Aish I thought was good today without being great, but pretty much no chance of being dropped. Moore coming off a recent injury tried hard, De Goey was mediocre but what's the point of bringing someone like Phillips back in to improve our 22 by an ignorable amount at the expense of De Goey's development?

Yep spot on as I for one was critical of Pies changes for this round... still going to take a hell of a lot of improved performances to change my opinion on Bucks longterm.

Whites selection was only reversing his omission mistake last week so doesnt really count as a credit point to the selectors.

On balance they did well today....helps when you have more playes available to choose from...
