I remember Sheeds not being too happy that we picked him up under Father/Son, so obviously he rates him. Or does he not know what hes talking about?viper05 said:TP can critise a player who has not played a afl game yet in N ABLETT.maybe we could start on morton, his old man wasnt that great and they drafted his son.
Thats what the word wasBomaz_Magic said:Wasn't Morton supposedly meant to go top10 if he wasn't taken under the father/son rule?
I seriously doubt that. From last years team you take out Jakovich 30+ Collica 28 Carroll 27 Morrison 27 and I think you will find that we have only Banfield, Braun, Chick, and Cousins, Wirrpunda and Wooden over 26 years oldBomaz_Magic said:I also think you will find that Essendon have a younger list than West Coast
Bomaz_Magic said:You will also find that for most of last year we were often without, either Rioli, McPhee or Hird (hardly played a game involving all 3).

2003 final anyone?simo said:Essendon played at home, but if they had to play away at Subiaco then they would not have won any finals.![]()
Damn bloody Fremantle. Can't trust those purple pansies to get anything right.mcphee_is_a_gun said:2003 final anyone?
Bomaz_Magic said:If I remember rightly, a player isnt allowed to make high contact when applying an off the ball shephard. I also think you will find that Essendon have a younger list than West Coast and a much more potent lineup up forward and down back. You will also find that for most of last year we were often without, either Rioli, McPhee or Hird (hardly played a game involving all 3).
Ruddiger said:As mentioned by Streaker, Hird and McPhee both played plenty of matches in 2004.
As for Rioli, I can't even believe you are using him as an excuse for Essendon's poor performance !!! The guy looks like Super Mario, but without his jumping and running ability.
You don't have a midfield, Hird is close to retirement as is Sheedy.
See you in Round 12 where you will be taken apart once again. Remind Dustin to bring his mouthguard....
Bomaz_Magic said:Tell Kerr to bring his valium and you're other drug abusers their cocaine cause you'll need something to mask the pain.
Essendon has only beaten the Eagles in Perth once since 1996 (inclusive) - and that was in 2001.Ruddiger said:The pain of what ? Winning ?
What's Essendon's record like at Subi against West Coast ?

Then again, maybe he wont.....
