Sheedy believes Essendon is in good shape up foward and down back and is backing his young midfield to do the job in 2005, so my question is do the Eagles look better. :D
 
I will answer that. The Eagles are better placed than Essendon and the Bombers will be one of those teams that either just makes the eight or finishes just outside.
 
Frankly, I thought Essendon were lucky to make the eight last year. I don't know whether they'll go any further this season.

If I remember rightly, a player isnt allowed to make high contact when applying an off the ball shephard. I also think you will find that Essendon have a younger list than West Coast and a much more potent lineup up forward and down back. You will also find that for most of last year we were often without, either Rioli, McPhee or Hird (hardly played a game involving all 3).
 
What did the eagles kick4.10 great score in a final,and dont give the crap about young players when TP can critise a player who has not played a afl game yet in N ABLETT.maybe we could start on morton,his old man wasnt that great and they drafted his son.

I remember Sheeds not being too happy that we picked him up under Father/Son, so obviously he rates him. Or does he not know what hes talking about?

I seriously doubt that. From last years team you take out Jakovich 30+ Collica 28 Carroll 27 Morrison 27 and I think you will find that we have only Banfield, Braun, Chick, and Cousins, Wirrpunda and Wooden over 26 years old

Hird played 20 matches last year and McPhee 21 and I doubt if Rioli will ever play a full season. Whats going to be your excuse this year?

Essendon played at home, but if they had to play away at Subiaco then they would not have won any finals. :D

As mentioned by Streaker, Hird and McPhee both played plenty of matches in 2004.

As for Rioli, I can't even believe you are using him as an excuse for Essendon's poor performance !!! The guy looks like Super Mario, but without his jumping and running ability.

You don't have a midfield, Hird is close to retirement as is Sheedy.

See you in Round 12 where you will be taken apart once again. Remind Dustin to bring his mouthguard....

Your club ought to look outside the square for some help too

A healthy dose of SPEED wouldnt hurt your midfield :D
