There's a few scary names in that lot if you are really honest :

Aitken
Robertson
Kennedy
McKenzie

These guys didn't go much past that GF, Aitken & McKenzie were traded and as for Robertson & Kennedy - who bloody knows ??

Whilst they can say they played in a premiership side, gee, they'd normally be reserves players at best.

Bit harsh Sheik, that team defeated a legendary Hawthorn team at the peak of thier powers. It was a team effort, the four you mentioned earned thier GF medallions as much as Kerna and co

Maybe a tad on the harsh side BM but I'm only calling it as I see it.

Do you really think that Kennedy & Wocka McKenzie were outstanding players ?? No, they were bit parts who happened to be in the right place at the right time. As for Aitken, he should have been a better player than what he achieved but injuries did have a say in it too. He will now be forever remembered as playing for The Hammerheads & not as a premiership player, says it all really. Robertson was okay but hardly a worldbeater and was limited to only being able to kick on his left foot, you'll never go far in the game with that restriction.

As for beating a legendary Hawthron team at the peak of their powers, I'd say Rhys-jones beat Brereton & the heat beat the rest of them. :D
