Is jersey sizes mirroring to t shirt sizes or what?

i am currently in that awkward stage where Larges are a bit too big and a medium is a bit too small (in t shirts)

what size jersey should i buy>

also any tips in as dressing up as lance armstrong (currently just buying a livestrong jersey, skins as shorts, helmet and having tic tacs with the sticker removed so it looks like random pills)

best thing to do would be to go to a shop and try some on, buy the one that fits.

then take note of the size of the jersey you bought and the listed dimensions (which you can find on the net) which will help you in future with on-line purchasing.

failing that, a general rule of thumb is that jersey sizes are quite a bit smaller than you would expect.

someone who normally wears a large of something might find themselves in a XXL. especially with european brands.

Looks the same as monton cycling which is chinese made fakes, they use a few different names. Definitely large then, postage can take a few weeks from there.

they're made for dudes who eat for quality of nosh and in moderation, not pig out on shit and value food based on quantity as we do in the anglo-world. we also have this ridiculous mentality here that big puffy bodies (as in bulk rather than lean muscle) is manly and is required to intimidate another bloke.

but yes, if it's a euro brand, size up. if it's north american, UK, AUS (even Jap like Pearl Izumi as i think they're made for the anglo markets) you should be fine.

in saying that, I always buy Italian. Capo, De Marchi, Giordana, etc. even though i need to size up, they match my (ahem) 'svelteness', unlike the anglo brands which make them more boxy - even their pro fits garments have too much gut room.

Its outrageous. Try before you buy I assure you. Or if in doubt, round up.

I'm a big bloke (XXL) and one of my jerserys is a 6XL. Never been that big in my life.
