Just want to ask Bluey and his moderators on what consitutes slander and then what can be done if it is.

"do something honourable for the first time in his life.

to someone who has no principles"

Are these lines slander?
 
would depend on the definition of 'honourable'
the definiton of 'principle'
the 'naming' of who 'his/someone'
and the public posting history of both parties I would assume - and that is ONLY for starters.........


tho that said it is probably just as slanderous as someone calling another a 'soft****' or a '****' or a '********' in chat........and that is just for starters too.

That is my opinion anyway.

Thanks Danni.

I was named as not being honourable and lacking principals. Sorry to bring this kind of argument up when the board is seeming to function well.

Rohan unless a post like that is shown to have been taken offence to, and reported to the moderators, it is very likely to be unseen.

As you can guess there have been a zillion (yes I know I exagerate, but geez it feels like it) offensive posts of one nature or another in the last couple of weeks.

If you feel something is aimed at you and personally offensive, please report it. If by chance the moderators of the board you reported it from don't respond in a reasonable amount of time, it is likely they have not recieved the report as of yet. On these occassions if you note that another moderator of another board is online, and you feel that the nature of the post is serious enough, please report it to the ones you see online.

There is not much we can do about anything unlesss we are made aware of it.

Just remember PLEASE use the report post to moderator function FIRST.

Your going to get called a lot worse than that in your life Rohan. Definitely not slander.

I know Docker Brat...ive met him and hes a good bloke
and i cant picture him being TheButcher. Especially
not when theButcher reckons he is a part of/or used to
be a part of the collingwood cheersquad.
I just got someone who knows him really well to ask
him and she said he said no way.
He also said if he was to do anything like this he
would target Port and not Collingwood considering he
hates Port so much

so yeah...i take his word for it....he isnt the type
of person to do that
 
I have been given official information that the above comments could well and truely shut down Nick's board where the comments were posted if Docker Brat and myself wanted to pursue matters ...My solicitors are looking to contact the admin and server of Nicks Board about how something like that could have been posted and a please explain.

Is this a quote from a post on Nick's site?
If so, it's got nothing to do with B/F.

Any complaint you have re Nick's board should be dealt with privately.
