1. We played arguably our worst game for the year against a team that played their best game, and went down by less than a goal.

2. We are still in the 8, our finals chances are in our hands.

3. Fletcher is showing no signs of aging and looks like mentoring our kids for a while still.

4. Prismall is killing it, imagine him with preseason.

Shit loss, one bad day, an aberration shouldn't strip us of our confidence, this team destroyed the reigning premiers, flogged Carlton, came from nowhere on Anzac Day and took 3 quarters off the top of the ladder side. Seasons not over yet

seek replacements ASAP. We need another gun forward ala Lloyd or Reiwoldt type & a fast silky medium forward ala Didak / O'Keefe type. Without these the best we cam hope

BS, he got a lot more of the ball than he usually does, but he continually stopped and kicked or handpassed it backwards, or to stationary targets. He was worse than McPhee in this regard. He was a major reason for our slow ball movement.

He got so many cheap possies and one/two's that made his stats look better than than they were.

He get cleaned up around the ball and could not run to put any pressure on.

His running the other way was abysmal and people that pot Stanton should start potting him.

I believe Knights is going quite well. Hobbled by Sheedys' poor decisions before he got the job; only needs to get Gumbleton and Neagle firing and we'll play finals.

Dempsey's decision making was terrible for most of the day.

When he tried to barge through a wall of player in the third term and got holding the ball against him giving the tigers an easy goal it totally ruined all our momentum.

1. Hooker actually looked like a ruckman! I was very impressed with him, I know it was only a couple of young guys holding the reins for the Tigers, but credit to him none the less.

2. Lovett continues to shin, even when the team is behaving badly. Well done Andy!

I agree with you, but time is running out. Maybe this loss will shake some of our guys from the feeling that some remaining games might be easy.

Changes will be forced on the side with Matty out through injury. Don't know what condition Jobe and Spike and Lovett are in. It is now an inescapable fact that making the finals rest with Essendon. We have to beat Brisbane as well as the two Western teams, and we might even have to put Hawthorn away in the last round to make the finals.

Best lesson was not to make the same mistake of letting a ace player like Cousins run loose.
