Ok, for what it's worth, for those of you who like a punt - and I know there is a few of you - just thought I would turn your attention to Warrnambool today where my horse will be having his first run (well for his new owners, including me).

Been in the stable for eight months now after crossing from NSW and finally gets to strut his stuff.

You'll find him in race four, saddlecloth number 3 - Conrad.

Trainer suggests a small each way outlay...a bit of an unknown commodity on heavy tracks, but does have the breeding.

If he goes okay, well and good. He fails miserably, either you don't know me aor I am prepared to cop your best sledges!

Harvard Bells and Stately Dash are beautiful big strong animals and I'd think you'd need to put in a big effort to get across the line ahead of those two. De Stefano will have a real dip as well, although keep your eyes on Mustang Billy, very solid outsider paying great money in my opinion.

Think ol' Conrad had a touch of the Tigers about him.

Persisted in going wide. Confused the outside running rail with the boundary line at Telstra Dome.

Trapped wide most of the way and made up some ground to finish sixth, which means he was better than nine of them.
