Soph's win 129-112

Great win by the Soph's with the two Warriors, J Rich and Gilbert Arenas starring.

Arenas ended with 30 points and 6 treys, whilst Richardson had 31 with 7 treys to go with plenty of highlight reel dunks.

Arenas was justifiably awarded the MVP.

Yeah it was entertaining...plenty of highlight dunks, no D and the better team prevailed.

I liked this -

And yes, two Warriors starring. Life is good.

If the Warriors make the playoffs this year, I know Antoine Jamison will get a lot of the credit, as the star-- but players like Richardson and Arenas will get their due for it as well.

Troy Murphy is the man behind the Warriors improvement imho.

The guy has given the Warriors the consistent defensive pressure in the low post that they have craved for so long.

Without Troy Murphy, i believe the Warriors would be having 110 points scored on them nightly because none of the other starters are capable of playing excellent and consistent defence for 48 minutes.

He and Jamison (his scoring and consistent shooting) are irreplaceable in that lineup, whereas Earl Boykins has shown that Arenas and J-Rich can be replaced.

Exactly...there is a time and place for moves like that, and we call that the street. That shouldnt be done in the NBA. You embarrass a guy by dunking on him, breaking his ankles on a killer crossover....not by making a guy look silly when he is just genuinely trying to play some D.

I bet Boozer will be gunning for J-Rich the next time they meet.
