Pav and Mayne can hold their heads high.
The rest of 'em are spoilt little girls with no balls and no hearts.
Lets start with the forward line. Richmond gave us a lesson in how forwards do more than kick goals. They forced errors , tackled hard, manned up, and didn't stop all day. The game was never won as far as they were concerned.
Our forwards were lazy, didn't chase, Taz has only one hand not 2, and the rebound from Richmond was far too easy.Delivery into the forwards was dreadful, but we still didn't make second efforts.
The midfield. Disgraceful. Smashed at every cleearnce, kicking skills were dreadful and couldn't hit a target.
The Backline. A comedy of errors. No manning up and it took until the fourth quarter to realise that Richmond played an extra man in attack.....for the whole game!
Coaching... Completely outcoached by a man with his head on the chopping block. By third quarter we still weren't playing man on man.
Overall... Supported the team since day one and still struggling to find a more insipid embarrassing loss. Just watched a pack of overpaid, precious little girls turn up and expect to win.
When I said to my mate we were being beaten by the S##t of the competition, he replied that : " Maybe we are the S##t of the competition"
Fair call.
Adelaide and Geelong up next. I shudder to think.
