A very depressed unit of Bulldogs supporters lie amoungst Bigfooty, anxiously waiting for the Bulldogs first win for season 2002. This song goes out to all you Bulldog floks, as we have to stick together.

To the tune of Stand Tough - Bulldogs style!

Dont you know that this is the beginning
Dont you know that this will bring us fame
Stand tough, stand tough - Never gonna see us froun
Gotta get up to get up - Enough is enough

Stand tough, stand tough - We're not gonna give up
Gotta get up to climb up, and up, up, up (stand tough)

Our team is changing and the pressure is rising, not going down
Our feet are walking onwards to a premiership cup
Dont try to stop us, because we will no longer continue our slide
Our team is jumping, jumping, jumping and you all know why

So whattcha gonna do when we come to town (tell me, tell me)
Wattcha gonna do when you're on the ground

Stand tough, stand tough - Never gonna see us froun
Gotta get up to get up - Enough is enough
Stand tough, stand tough - We're not gonna give up
Gotta get up to climb up, and up, up, up (stand tough)

I've had enough of everybody, telling us we play like poo
I've gotta get this message through to more than a few
Bring on all the good times, and throw away the bad times
We've gotta make this clear, and lets give our dogs a cheer

So whattcha gonna do when we come to town (tell me, tell me)
Wattcha gonna do when you're on the ground

Stand tough, stand tough - Never gonna see us froun
Gotta get up to get up - Enough is enough
Stand tough, stand tough - We're not gonna give up
Gotta get up to climb up, and up, up, up (stand tough)

Stand Tough.

This man should be bought in for inspiration. If the lads had as much unbridled enthusiasm and unmatched determination as the contestants on Supermarket Sweep we would never lose again.

Did you ever see Turps perform live on TV the Nirvana classic "Seems like Teen Spirit" all dressed in his black leathers?

An extraordinary moment in Australian Television. Possibly the finest in its history.

After our last 2 games the mood on this board has been rather glum. So I have decided to bring back this truly inspirational thread to lift the morale of Bulldog board members.

Thanks Rocco, now I'm pumped.

Does anyone have a picture of Ugly Dave Gray to post on this thread? This would surely send morale through the roof on the Bigfooty Bulldogs Board

Right up there with Joan Kirner and David White - I Love Rock and Roll? That was the same show, wasn't it Doc? Wendy Harmer's one?

It was the Late Show with D-generation. Mick Molloy would always stuff up organising the music act, and get people like Joan Kirner etc. instead of the original act. I think that's where Rolf Harris did his rendition of Stairway to Heaven with a wobbleboard - became a hit over here in the UK.

Uncle Leo misses the Mo

We should send these pics to Peter Rhode, to rev the boys up before Saturday nights game.

Ugly Dave Gray recalled one time he was coming through customs at Tullamarine. In the queue ahead of him was a lovely young Aussie girl. The inspector looked in her case and there were 7 pairs of undies. He asked why 7 pairs and she replied 'Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday!'.
Next was a pretty young French girl. The inspector checked her bag and found 6 pairs of frilly lace knickers. 'Why 6 pairs?' he asked. She replied 'Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - but Saturday - Ooh La La!!'
Next was a fat old slovenly Pommy woman. He opened her case and found 12 pairs of foul smelling, dirty bloomers. 'Eww - why12 pairs?' he asked.
She replied: 'January, February, March....'
