Steam cleaning service

Can anyone recommend a good, steam cleaning service in the Essendon area ?
Three bedrooms, a lounge room and a hallway is all that needs to be done.

Also, how much would you reasonably expect to pay for such a service ?

Don't know of any necessarily in the area, but I used to work for Chief Cleaning Services who are based in Northcote, and John is a pretty good operator and won't charge the earth. Sorry, no number, you might have to google or white pages it.

I'd avoid Cheap as Chips or any similar franchise operation, as they often suck people in and their training is 100% on the job (ie - here's a machine, learn as you go). It's quite common that inexperienced franchise operators will either used too much detergent and leave carpets slippery or smelling funny, or use too much water and leave either surface or deeper moisture.

Have been out of the business a while so can't give an accurate price guess (and usually do my own when necessary), but if the franchise chains are offering shopper dockets for 3 rooms for $60, I'd say $80-90 would be realistic for a decent job to meet your requirements.

It's cheaper to hire the steam cleaner from the supermarket & do it yourself.

Hire a Britex from safeway cheap as chips and very easy to use
