Hi all,
Given that we're now running two SuperCoach leagues for this season (the general VG Board League and the 'Destiny Community' League), Igloo, E92_ and I have decided that it's best to ensure that discussion for each league doesn't cross over into other threads. This is particularly relevant for the Destiny league. SuperCoach discussion will not be allowed in the Destiny thread - or any other irrelevant thread - in order to ensure that those that are not in the league are not scared off from discussing the actual thread topic.
It has also been decided that there should be two separate SuperCoach threads - one for each league. This is to ensure that the two leagues aren't forced to talk over the top of each other in the same thread, causing confusion. As such, the best course of action is to have SuperCoach league discussion housed within the Leagues and Gaming Stories sub-forum. The two threads:
Video Games Board SuperCoach League
Destiny Community SuperCoach League
All discussion regarding these leagues should take place here, apart from one notable exception: at the beginning of each season, a fantasy 'recruitment' thread is permitted on the main board in order to attract people to your leagues. Once the season begins, though, discussion should move to the sub-forum.
If there is enough interest in more general SuperCoach/Dream Team/AFL Fantasy discussion amongst the board's fantasy aficionados we may consider a fantasy sub-forum in the future. For now, however, we only need these two league threads and the L&GS sub-forum is sufficient.
One final note: we are not attempting or intending to stifle fantasy discussion with this decision. Feel free to discuss it to your heart's content and if it takes off we'll look at better options. For now, we're just attempting to ensure that both the SC groups and non-SC groups are happy.
If anybody has any questions or concerns feel free to address them in this thread or via PM.
