Hey guys, perhaps someone can help me out here.

When you trade with another team, can you trade players from different positions? For example, if I was to offer a ruckman, say Sandilands, could I trade him for a non-ruckman, like Swan or Goddard etc?

If you can't do it directly in one trade, then I guess it would have to be a double trade where I trade say Sandilands for Seaby, and then Bewick for Swan, with the same team. In this instance can you link the trades together so that they appear as one grouped trade? The danger would be one trade going through, while the other is vetoed/rejected.

Can anyone clear this up?

Pretty sure you can't trade from different positions, so the option of a 2 way trade will be your best bet.

You probably need to sort the 2 way trade out in your psyche out with the rest of your league. Let them know the double trade before hand to get the ok. I am assuming you know the people in your league, so they should know what goes around comes around for any trades they want to do in the future!

It's a ****ed system. Waste of $20. So much potential but shithouse execution.

Can't trade between positions
Can't execute multi-player trades

That alone kills the game.

I assume they will use this year as a test to see what needs to be changed to improve it. Which is a lot because at the moment it is pretty shite!

The byes make it unplayable...one emergency does not cover multi round byes. What are you supposed to do? trade out your guns to the pool and replace them with rookies from teams playing?

So not only does the random luckiness of the original draw affect you. The SC with Swan has a 100 point advantage over most teams at the moment. The AFL does not have enough depth of players to make this model workable like the NFL.

It's a waste of time. There is little skill involved due to lack of trade options. Trading between teams would be greater if it wasn't restricted to positions.

Disagree. SC Pro is far and away more involved and fun than the standard supercoach. I play in a league with 9 other mates and our trades are done via work emails. We've already completed about 20-30 inter team trades. We often do double or triple team trades in one hit.

Wrong. The byes make it more of a challenge. Setup your team correctly and have some foresight and you can cover for the byes. Remember you face each team twice. Most of the guys in my league are getting through the multi bye rounds with 1-2 donuts max. Some that have been caught out just write off the round because they know their team will be strong in other rounds. It's all about strategy. Do not see how the "depth" of players factor comes into it?

Everyone had the same amount of picks and your teams should be balanced. FYI I traded out Swan and it hasn't hurt me one bit.

Maybe playing and trading with mates makes it workable. In our league, not one trade has taken place despite many being offered. Strategy is not any where near as detailed as regular SC. It's a joke but your experience has been completely different. It will be interesting to see how this pans out.
