I've heard a few wispers around that there are a few Bulldogs interested in going to Sydney for the game this year?

How many are interested and what are the specifics that would suite everyone? ie What day would be best to go up, come back, stay etc etc...

Last year i got blind, can't remember how i got back to the hotel and lost far too much money at the Casino... This year i may need a baby sitter :D

Seriously, who's keen??

me and my brother go up every year. we are going up on the friday night or Sat morning and will stay at a hostel in the cross called coooeeee or we will stay at bondi in a hostel. we haven't made specific plans yet. last year we stayed at a hotel in the cross

Good to see Melbourne Dogs supporters joining the few brave Doggies up here in Sydney.

Our WB Sydney Supporters Group is trying to organise some function with the players post match.

In recent years, we have a pretty good record at the SCG.

As you know, this a weird away - home game, and the Swans have a deal with their members of optional tickets for this game (at extra cost). Quite a few of them are so pissweak they don't take up this offer, so some of their prime seats are available. Worth considering, as interstate Dogs usually get crap seats behind the goal or in the pretty ordinary public areas.

Downside is sitting among Swans members - they don't like us at all.

But God it's good when you're sitting there and we beat them NB we had a great comeback in the 1999 game from memory. I can still remember giving them stick!

Ive already organised it with a couple of my mates to go up but we havent worked out the details as yet.We have to work it around work and local footy.Get back to ya PC.

This would be great. Lets have a Bulldogs bigfooty party in Sydney. We could do something either before or after the game (or both) like a restaurant or pub get together.

Depends what you want to get up to.

Darling Harbour, Ultimo and Pyrmont close to poxy casino and various pouncy bars of Darling Harbour (but nice to walk around at night), not far from Chinatown (much bigger than yours - some good food, and interesting). Not horribly far from SCG - taxi fare not too bad.

Surry Hills close to SCG - good restaurants (expensive), reasonable cafes, some quiet nice pubs and some live music.

Kings Cross is not too far from the ground - taxi fare not too bad. Pretty poxy, but lots of bars, girls, drugs. Last time I was there stayed at Bourbon n Beefsteak till 6.00 am (never closes).

Another alternative is staying close to sea at Bondi or Coogee. Fair distance to ground, but fair bit of entertainmant NB Bondi.

Have heard that there will be a post match function after the game with players.
