Ranked match was impossible, connection gets lost as soon as I find an opponent. Player match works fine but people with crappy internet ruin it. It's early so I'll give Bamco time, I just hope it's as decent as online on SSF4 and Marvel vs Capcom as they worked perfect.
 
Really enjoying this, but there are some hits and some misses with regard to the new features/additions.

Story mode is fantastic but really needed to be fleshed out a little bit more. Started getting into it and loved where it was going...then all of a sudden it was over.
 
Finished the story over the weekend and left me feeling a bit flat. The side characters (not part of the main story) only get a token one off fight to 'earn' their endings. Plus a lot of the old faves have been removed. Reminds me of what Soul Calibur did last time out - replacing old favourites with new ones. Liked the old system of unlocking new characters and then grinding to get their endings etc.

Still fun at parties though or when you have mates over.

The single player content has been stripped completely bare, it's a real shame. The fighting mechanics are the best they've ever been (although I fundamentally disagree with the inclusion of the Rage Art system) but there's just...nothing to do. The story mode is great but ends as quickly as it begins.

Even Arcade mode is bare bones.
 
I don't care for offline mode as much except practice mode, Tekken bowling/ball was fun though. As long as online's smooth, I'm happy. Also I finally got some ranked games the other day, up to 3rd Kyu lol.
 
Agree, I feel like there isn't much content there for offline/single player - especially considering how long the game has been in the making for console release. I'm not much of an onliner player either as my net is pretty bad.

The mechanics are great and I do enjoy when the gameplay slows down to show a decisive hit. I think the season pass mentioned a new mode to be included - hopefully will be something meaty and cool (a tekken force mode would be dope) and not just a cheap gimmick like tekken bowl or that old volley ball mode from T3 haha.
 
Got my platinum over the weekend (super easy one) but doubt I will play much until the season pass stuff kicks in. Honestly not much content for single player offline (even the other staple modes like time attack, team battle, survivor etc) are gone. Story is super lite for content and it's missing so many old faves from the roster.

Online can be fun but my net is not great and the matchmaking seems a tad slow too. Love Tekken but probably one of the weakest entries in the series IMO for replayability.

Dude didn’t know wtf was going on, panicked and tried to sidewalk but that move had the tracking of a bloody heat seeker missile.
