Just wanted to comment about the MFC telethon last night. It was a very good effort by the club to sign up members.
They held a telethon where they phoned members who didn't sign up and ended up signing around 500 members, now our membership tally is above 24,000. Good idea by the club and players

Pretty sure we were already over the 24,000. I think that put us over 25,000 members.

It was a pretty good effort by the club, but i think its pretty piss week of the suppporters, the club were calling about 5500 unsigned members and we only got 10%.

Just on our club promotion, has anyone else got an email send to them through bigfooty asking them to sign up to Melbourne Lotto. I hope our club isn't trying to get out of debt by buying lotto tickets and getting lucky!

JB said that we already had over 26,000 members before they gave us the number.

So it's not too bad and I reckon we would have nabbed a few last night as well.

26k is a pretty good effort after our start, if we can push on to 27k by the cut off point in June it will be admirable.

Wonder how many of last year's members are still to sign up. i think it was 10,000 only a couple of weeks ago. Soft effort.

5,500 unsigned members from last year I believe were the figures read out.
