Anyone having issues with Outlook Bigpond email?

Cant send/receive

Call Telstra and it’s pointless excercise. Cant speak to human and if u do the call drops out...
Call back and you are put through to texting the problem

The last sentence was “technicians are working on it. Sorry”

Many people on other sites I see are posting the same problem since August without a solution in sight.

Yes i've noticed this happening for at least a month or so now. I also fetch my bigpond email through my mobile Mail app as well, and that works fine, but I'm not able to load the desktop browser webmail.

one technical issue after another throughout our economy. I have no idea what is a technical issue vs cyber attack these days

Telstra, and Telstra users, have been reporting major technical “glitches” for more than a week. A club I belong to have had to send multiple copies of emails for zoom meetings and other activities because of it.

Sit back and smile about having a very different provider.

I love Bigpond email. I haven't been a paying customer for 10 years or so but they didn't shut down my email when I left. Actually I have 2 Bigpond email addresses, one from almost 20 years ago that I had before moving home and re-signing. Both are still in use and cost me zip!

I noticed that I have a separate earlier Firefox browser on my desktop computer, which also isn't synced to my handheld. With this, I was able to successfully access webmail. That index.rui thing with the 3 load dots in the middle of the screen comes up briefly, but after about 5 seconds it goes through. The webmail web address has "app" in it. Probably some issue between new browser upgrades, APIs and authorised device syncs. Old, less secure browsers that aren't available anymore obviously isn't a solution though.

Telstra have also recently redone their log-in page. Nothing real new about it, looks very appy, doesn't really solve anything or offer better customer service to the desktop access point.

Funny thing this morning.

Looked at the Telstra profile set-up thing. My email and mobile WITH THEM aren't linked, and they have my earliest address with them from when I was 19 (I'm now 32 and have moved probably twenty times since then, updating details at various points). Just hilariously sloppy. No thank you.
