I agree wholeheartedly.

Sure, we got smashed by Geelong, but oh well, move on. They are the best team in the AFL, and will IMO win the flag this year.

We have a great up and coming list, and when Sidebottom, Beams and McCarthy bulk up and get more experience I'm sure we'll have what it takes to go all the way then.

The Pies supporters sarcastically cheering Davis, Didak and Cloke last night are a disgrace. Sure they didn't have the best finals series, but it's because of them players we got in that position. We were just outplayed.

We've come through in leaps and bounds this season. Had our best winning streak since 1990, and showed that we can compete with the best, where for once we beat every team in the top 8 at least once, except the two top teams (which just shows how we do need to step it up a notch). In previous years we've been in the 8 only because we beat the teams we were expected to beat.

I don't know about you, but throw Pendlebury (our most important player IMO), and Fraser back in that side, with a fully fit Medhurst and another pre-season, we'll be right to go that little extra further next year.

Bring on 2010 I say.
