As Chancellor of Spotswood I was going to wait till the end of the S39 season to announce the exciting news that we were picking up arguable the best poster from the Royals for S40. However as recent events in the poaching thread have unfolded it has become apparent that the cat is out of the bag so why wait.

So it is with great pleasure I can announce that manicpie will be joining the Old Boys for Season 40.

Now before people get in a fluff about OOB stealing great players from weak teams understand that what OOBs has done here is save a cat from the cruelty of his previous home where he was neglected, unloved and only allowed out on the qooty paddock to run free a mere six times this season. A feline like manicpie needs to be let out into the sun and allowed to eat grass more than six times a season and if it wasn't for his insistence we would have reported the Royals to the RSPCTAA (Royal Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Avatars) and had the full force of the animal avatar act placed on them.

So as a benevolent team we have taken in this neglected feline who we are pleased to announce will be taking up the position of Professor of Felinology and allowed to play every game next season. Welcome to Spotswood manicpie
