I'd recommend sacrificing your R4 spot on someone like Naismith, Moller or Osborn, who are no chance at all to play, for $96k, starting them on the ground, and having Leuenberger (or whoever your R2 is) as an emergency. Let's be honest - the rookie rucks stocks are that low this year, you're not missing out on much.

Then, you set a VC as someone playing on Friday night (or Saturday if your actual intended captain is playing on Sunday). If your Friday night VC scores 140+, you make your R4 captain - taking a 0, and the double score reverting to your VC. If the VC scores 90, you set your regular captain as C before the Sunday game. Easy.

But for the extra $15k you can have McBean at R4 and have the FWD-RUCK swing. There is no chance of him playing this year with Big O there anyway.

McBean has too many "early games" - go Sinclair from w/c who has more Sunday games, enables greater flexibility
but yes go the extra cash to obtain the flexibility - might only use it 3 times, but when you do it'll be a saved trade or points on the ground - money well spent IMO

I have both Franklin and stevie J in my team. My forward line bench contains Staker and Lee so I'm fine when it comes to avoiding 0's. But in my rucks i have Nic Nat who ofcourse doubles up as a forward and i have Nicholls on my pine who has been scoring the lights out.
What i was wondering is if i left Lee on my bench as a non emergency, moved Nic Nat on do my ruck bench as an emergency and moved Nicholls into my starters would Nic Nat then come in as my emergency in my forward line ? Anyhelp would be much appreciated.

No he wouldn't. An emergency will only take the place of a player in the same position for which he's an emergency. The only way to get Nic Nat to fill in for one of your missing forwards is to swap him with a ruck/forward dpp in your forward line ... if you have one.
