The Norwood Redlegs in the AFL thread (any boats left?)

If a Norwood/Sturt consortium joined the AFL, what would be the impact on the two current teams?
Im thinking Crows supporter base would be hit by around 25%-30% and Power supporter base maybe 10%- 15%

Thoughts?
Sounds about right but as I’ve said many times before, 20 teams is a lot. It’s probably best to limit the max number to 22, targeting new markets instead of already represented ones.

ACT should be next in line after Tasmania, otherwise they’ll probably miss out completely and we won’t have a truly national comp that should imo include ACT and the NT (even if it has to be propped up by the government forever).

Norwood could be part of that 22 but I can’t see SA3 ahead of WA3.

The Port fanbase % would be under 10%, perhaps under 5%. Very few Port supporters follow Sturt or Norwood. The Crows would be most affected.

I can't see Norwood and Sturt joining up, if it was going to happen it would've happened in 1997.
