Thats what I wanted to know too. Theyve beeen on pay but not FTR. I have both ontape but I was also wondering whether the DVD has got deleted scenes or if there were any scenes deleted from the TV version for ads.

Same here, with the exception of the Christmas specials (which I'm sure aren't out on DVD, yet.)

As much as I hate to go agains the prevailing feel goodness thus far, I found the Office to be one of those shows that was funnier when other people told me about it. Didn't laugh too much when I watched it. Too cringeworthy. Which speaks hugely for the quality of the writing of the show, but I just didn't think it was that great.

I've seen (i.e. downloaded) the Xmas Specials...they have the potential to polarise the opinion of The Office fans (a bit too 'sitcom-like' perhaps), but I found them to be hilarious.

I saw this interview with Bremer, the US chief in Iraq. They were trying to make out like he a character, so they were showing how every day he wore these boots instead of shoes with his suit. It reminded me of David Brent, but it might've just been me.

What makes The Office so damn funny is that I'm sure I've worked with every single character, and David Brent seems to be employed in every workplace I've ever been involved with...

Everyone I've talked to says the same, so they've nailed it as far as I'm concerned.
