Bloody hell. Right in the middle of it. Can't fly here, can't go there, flu, WW3, face masks.....how many contingency plans do I need. Tough when you are compulsive. Deadly this thing. Especially since the Docs have NFI (again!). Unless of course its some sort of biological...........:o

Ahhhh fresh air.

Singapore. One of the busiest airports in the world is not helping their cause. 21 cases of the virus already. Of course the Govt here wouldn't tell you EVERYTHING, so maybe worse.

Sfrom the govt here to all emails:

Medical Alert !

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has issued a global pneumonia alert after an outbreak of atypical pneumonia that has been reported in the press and media.

We would like to advice our patients who present with the following signs and symptoms to seek advice from their doctors:

Productive Cough
Chest Pain
Shortness of Breath
Fever & Chills
Vomiting

You may also like to consider taking the following measures to prevent the spread of respiratory infections.

Avoid visiting crowded places with poor ventilation

Build up good body immunity by taking a balanced diet, drink
sufficient water, have adequate rest and avoid smoking.

Maintain a good personal hygiene. Wash hands thoroughly after
sneezing, coughing or cleaning the nose.

Cover your nose and mouth while sneezing or coughing and dispose of nasal and mouth discharge properly.

Maintain good ventilation in your home and office environment.

The young, elderly and those with chronic diseases should consult their doctors promptly if they develop respiratory symptoms.

Complete madness now. All the schools in the country up to Junior College will be closed until next week and probably indefinately (I guess its OK to die if you are a bit older).
750 people under house arrest and not allowed out until cleared.
Rumours it may be prevalent at the stock exchange. Therefore-possible closure.
A big NFI from the authorities again.
I'll be wearing my surgical mask at work tomorrow.
Freaking hell.:o

Those symptoms can be associated with a hell of a lot of problems. An ordinary bout of flu would bring on the same list. So can losing to Collingwood in the opener. :(

I think it's time to re-read 'The Stand.'

Sounds like someone who's had 18 cans and a bottle of Jaegermeister.

thank you Suzi recovered remarkably quick apart from still getting tired and cathing the flu easily. They say it stays in your system for 6 months though
Eww yuck.

I would probably die if I caught this weird bug that's going around in Singapore. I already get chest infections every two months due to CF

He can play footy ok because he gets his back thumped before, during and after the match.
It is so that he doesn't chuck on the field.
The same goes for me as well.
These are facts and not bs.
