Is this album anyones fave Costello album? It is certainly up there for me. Was playing it this morning, man it still sounds great.

Yep it's probably my fave, but My Aim Is True and Armed Forces are right up there too. Pretty hard to split the 3 of them, but I do have a real soft spot for TYM. The whole record is a gem but in particular I love Radio Radio, No Action and Little Triggers. :)
 
Along with "Armed Forces" would rate as my favourite Elvis Costello album (can't split them). Most critics seem to rate "Imperial Bedroom" as his greatest work but for me he was on fire in the late 70's. Interestingly though I'm not a big fan of "My Aim is True". Probably because as much as I love most of Costello's work I just didn't like "Alison" or "Watching the detectives" :eek:

Two songs do not an album make (or ruin). That said I prefer This Years' Model to his debut. Haven't really got into New Wave, are there any other albums from that genre and era that are this good?
