Not sure why you brought this one up, but Gloria is one of my favorite U2 songs - only pipped by New Years Day and probably The Unforgettable Fire (song). I love the guitar riff during the verses and the harmonics during the chorus! Oh and the live version is just as good as the recorded version too... Don't forget there's also a song by Van Morrison I think called Gloria - not bad either.

I've never heard the other different versions of Gloria, like the ones by Rick Springfield, Van Morrison.

Well they weren't really big until after War & The Unforgettable Fire... In the video for Gloria they were all still about 19.
