Why dont you try "Young and Jackson's", its directly opposite Flinders Street Station on Flinders Street.

I've been there once, a lot later than 7:00pm of course, but it was an alright place.. Im not completely sure they'd have the footy on tv, but considering it's on early in the night you could guess they would.

I hooked up with this fine as chick from France there when I went, so plenty of fine girls come in and out of the place.

When I used to go to Youngies, it was a bit of a dive in the bar at street level, but the upstairs area was for the smart set

Cant tell you sh*t between upstairs or downstairs cause I've only been there once, and that one time I was pretty hammered.

If I recall correctly, there were tv's around the place so tonight's game should be on.
