Not forgetting he WAS a no.3 pick, so was princess Fiona. that has zero impact on his currency. he's close to flaming out altogether, his talent in a turnaround situation is the only thing that gives him any real value.

and what an injury prone player who promises not to get injured any more has more value than one that doesnt?
pfff

comparing sylvia to fiora is not even close. fiora is an outside hang out nothing more. Sylvia has the flexibilty to play key foward as well as mid-field. You can say no to sylvia with reilly but fiora and sylvia are not even in the same boat.

I hardly think Reilly's issue is of wanting to go home, its more an issue of Jamie's desire to move to Melbourne and continue to persue her career from there (as she has done over the past month or two by shopping herself around), essentially IMHO it's no longer an if, but a when, this year maybe, a good year to do it, otherwise I expect it to be next year. What this means for our club, especially for our youngsters from interstate, can't be measured until said issues arise, but I can't imagine it being the preferred option.

blah blah blah...

they're in exactly the same boat, high talent busts. except it looks more likely at this stage that Fiona will have achieved more.

and exactly like Fiona maybe Sylvia needs a new start, but he has next to no runs on the board.

Bit harsh calling me moron!!!!!! Sure I might be a Collingwood supporter but I certainly have an open mind. Collingwood will be looking for a top 10 pick for Didak and if I remember rightly Dangerfield was taken at pick 10. So that takes care of the Didak trade. I then have said to offer pick 23 for Reilly. If this is not enough I would also then offer pick 39 to sweeten the deal.

All I was stating is that this is very similar to what Adelaide will have to do to get Didak!!!!!!!!! MORON!!!!!!!!!!!

Collingwood will not get a top 10 pick for Didak. Sure you might think he's worth it, but come on do you really think any club is going to give up a top 10 pick in a superdraft, the last chance to get quality talent for a few years... for a loose cannon whos had consistent off-field probems.. you're looking at a late first round / early second round + a solid player (Max.!!) IMO

As this is purely hypothetical and not based on any players desire to go anywhere, if I were to trade Reilly to Melbourne I would want Aaron Davey in return.

totally agree :thumbsu:

Adelaide will not trade a first round pick for Didak, you all can book mark that

Given MFC's recently announced salary cap issues, I would suggest they won't be chasing any players, and just trying to off load some. Could be some bargain buying at the Dees this trade period.

????????????????????????

How can MFC have salary cap issues? They're last! Who are they paying money to?

Meesen again i bet - three years and $$$, and they can't afford any of their other players.

by the way, can the next person who says this is the last chance for x long to get quality talent in the draft please put their brain in gear beforehand.

either that, or lend me their head. I'm building a rockgarden at home.

you could give GC the first 20 picks, and it wouldn't make that much freaking difference to us.

They want to get money out of the AFL, to do that they can only pay up to 92.5% of the salary cap, aparrently they are paying 100%. Althought they probably have enough old players they can get rid of to get this down. i.e. Yze, Holland and co. But you would think they would be expecting their players to have a pay freeze at the least. Some might not be happy with that.
