Training today...

had a really good time down at Moorabbin today. Just decided to pass through as mum and i were on our way to Southland and was lucky enough to see the last half hour of training and also met the MMMMMMM nice...Heath Black and got my photo taken with him. Very very glad the boys are back to their usual selves opening up the shower windows and hootin out at us lol and especially impressed that my mother has come out of the closet as the footy **** that i know is in there somewhere

Onto the real business well the spirit down there was certainly up since i last went down there at the end of last season. Was good too see all the fresh faces and much of the dead wood gone. GT looked to have a lot of very capable support staff by his side which is what i think StKilda may have been lacking at times but hey what haven't we lacked in the past few years In the time that i was there the team mainly participated in ball skills which is damn well refreshing from the nonsense i saw from Blight last summer but i hear they also have been participating in time trials before training? The boys lookt to be getting very acquainted with the footys through the 15 mins of handball drills they did. Also good to see a bit of fun at the end as the boys practised kicking the footy's into the bins somthing i have seen at other clubs but not often at StKilda! Pleasing that Aussie was putting in the extra hard yards after training also and a special mention must go to Brett Voss on baggin that one in!

Can't wait till the praccy match oh and i got my membership too and luuurve the slogan for this year 'Expect the unexpected' whoevers in the marketing behind that certainly has their head screwed on!

you must be a wicked influence if you can turn your dear old mum into a footy ****. who gave who a boost to peek through the shower windows?

i'm happy that we are doing a lot of skill work with the footies this year. last year when blight took them on their fitness first regime, not many questioned his methods because he was the messiah, the only problem was that when the real stuff rolled around no one could hit a target by hand or foot and the high turnover count lost us games and confidence.

when and where is the practice match? might get down there myself to see how we're progressing. everytime i go to moorabbin to watch training i stand in the same spot in the animal cage and remember great times. except now i don't have to put the opened 2nd can on the ground between my feet and fend of all the other lunatics from spilling it.

Spidey u forgot to menchion Sexy lil Kozzie , Stevie J, Nick and Trena. It was good to hear that Vossy Jr go one in the bin, big Brother never got any in the bin lol. Keep us/me up to date with the progress of these fellas in particular.

I would look in th showers if I had the chance to up here

Praccy match i hear is on Feb 8th but dates r still uncertain and on the fan forum there were a few whispers goin round about a forum BBQ and apparently GT is supplyin the meat lol what a top bloke!

Luv the little story bout the animal enclosure memories too although i am too young to have been there i have had a few smaller memories down at Moorabbin myself. I am deeply saddened by the moves of some clubs to leave their old home bases

Speaking of Kossie Possum ehehehhehehe i actually had a bit of a funny thing happen with his best mate Nick Riewolt lol somehow i managed to slap him on the arse don't ask

...and as for my dear mother when dad asked her where she'd been all day the next morning she replied "i went Footyslutting" hahhaha classic i just wish i had it on tape i'm so proud of her
