Would appreciate if someone could give me the answer to this-

Melbourne had a player in the late 80's early 90's who had a period of perhaps half a season where he was a bit of a goal kicking machine. He was only midsized, but was good overhead. I reckon he only played a few seasons and never achieved what he did in that year (sort of like Adrian McAdam or John Georgiadis). I recall him kicking a couple of bags at VFL park.

Can you tell me the player because it is driving me nuts?

Thanks in advance.

Just trying to think, maybe Darren Bennett, 208 goals in 74 games from 89-93, then went off to become an all-pro punter in the NFL

No not Bennett. Smaller player than him. More of a FP OR HFF size. I reckon it was around 86-88 but may be wrong.

Allen Jakovich or Darren Cuthbertson
was thinking those two, but both played early nineties and not mid to late eighties and Jakovich seemed too obvious

Cuthbertson may be the one though, 25 goals in the first 7 rounds of '91
