It's been a trip down memory lane for me but now the boys are playing and if your a fan then check it out. This is a seriously talented band.

I watched until about 3 am,couldn't go any longer, had some pretty good material there.:thumbsu:

Was good seeing Thriller and Uptown Girl amongst Dio, Sabbath, Pantera, Sepultura etc......:D

edit: And the ABC kicking the thing off with Thorpie "Mama" was cool too

This was awesome.

Always liked Trivium, but now, after watching this last night, they are my new favourite band, yes, even in front of Metallica

Love Matt Heafy's vocals, they are awsome, has a great scream, in the early stuff, but is getting it right nowadays, and does both screaming and singing now.

Also love Corey Beaulieu's Head Banging, how sweet does that look? :thumbsu:

The drummer is very good, too. Better than Slayer's drummer and Metallica's drummers.

An updated 'Big 4' of Thrash Metal:
Trivium
Slayer
Megadeth
Anthrax

Unless Metallica don't pick it up in the new album, they have been kicked out of the 'top 4' IMHO, they haven't released a good thrash album since 1988 and are lacking their Thrash name these days.

LOL

Glad they didn't keep up with this ****, because I was about to turn it off. THen they started playing stuff like WASP, and Iron Maiden, then the headline band, TRIVIUM!!

Another point, how good was Metallica's Whiplash video? Did anyone notice that Jason Newsted actually sang the middle bit of the song?

the twisted sister video clip is just full of awesome, funniest stuff ever
beutiful rage, one of the best ive seen

What song was it?

Twisted Sister released a 30 minute video called "Come Out And Play" which had five or so songs strung together as a concept video. Pretty funny stuff. And I'm pretty sure that Mark Metcalf who played "The Maestro" in several Seinfeld episodes, plays the strict dad in "We're Not Gonna Take It". Bobcat Goldthwait and Alice Cooper feature in other clips as well.

Cant believe I missed this on Rage :(

Would have been nice if it was published on Triviums website or something.

These guys Rock!

It didn't go for 30 minutes, I can tell ya that :thumbsu:

:p

This 30 minute thing had about five songs on it
- Leader of the Pack
- We're Not Gonna Take It
- I Wanna Rock
- Be Cruel To Your School (with Alice Cooper)
and at least one other, with actors and storyline in between.

The clip for "We're Not Gonna Take It" with the dad falling out the window and basically getting battered from pillar to post for the whole four minutes, is an excerpt from the longer video, and forms part pf the overall script.

The song was I wanna rock.

Where they ar ein school, this metal head was listening to his MP3, and the teacher says something like "what do you wanna be when your older?"

Then the music starts:
"I wanna rock.. (ROCK!)

Yep that's part of the longer form video as well. Probably shouldn't be too hard to find the full thing on eMule or Limewire.
