Last year we were one of the better clearance sides in the competition, tuck was a clearance monster and this year we have struggled big time with the clearances.
Anyone who has this theory that he is fighting for a spot with Cotchin, Martin, Foley is a moron, look how many midfielders Geelong and Collingwood have and are people forgetting that Tuck played across half back multiple times last year and did a very good job.

I will even go as far as saying that we would have beaten St.Kilda had Tuck played and probably beat Carlton.

I read on another thread a few days/weeks back that Hardwick apparently said he is waiting a few rounds for the sting to go out of the game before he comes in. Hardly a glowig endoresment for tuck is it. Do we need to bring in a slow in and under or a speedy kid that can run and carry/use the ball?

If tuck comes in who does he replace?

Happy to see Tucky come in when he is in form and any other midfielder is out of form (Foley ought come back thru the 2s after out for so long) Really hoping to see him become a useful forward / mid. will harden us up no end.

Care to explain your theory?

1. Collingwood and Geelong both have way more midfielders then us and they are top 4 sides.
2. The speed of the game is slowing down but yet you say Tuck will slow us down... Have you paid attention to any football over the last month, the clearances are playing a huge part on the out come of matches. Did you see essendons midfield smash st.kildas a couple of weeks ago, Hird plays big bodies in the midfield at the majority of centre clearances and Essendon seem to be travelling along very smoothly.
3. Tuck can play forward and back not just on the ball.
