...apparantly not constructed of adamantium, joined with hinges forged in the sun itself, and, after a dozen posts attesting to his durability I am humbled.

I cant say that Shane is though, he was going bloody well until being forced off.
Others have made the point that it was after he left the field that Black's impact rose.

So 2 things:

1 - how is he? back next week? in the 2s?
2 - how many threads would there have been if it was Foley/Cotch/Martin/Lids that went off, and how many assuring placating comments and reports from the club if it was so? any ? none? one or 2? ? about 305?

Seriously, loving Tucky in tiger stripes, the rest of squad will have to be pretty lucky to be as durable, and hope we can hold onto him for as long as possible.

ok I am a tad sentimental (wouldve kept Cuzzie, Richo and even Polak probably still, if it were up to me!)

I hope to see plenty more Shane this year!
not a bad game to rest him though- will not be able to outrun Freo this weekend as we could v Brisbane

I believe it has been reported as a two week injury.

You are somewhat right in that Tucky does not get the credit he deserves, and I bet you'd never hear a whining word from him about it. Could be considered collateral damage in a side on the rebuild, or maybe he really does have the flaws that some think he has.

All things considered, has been a damn good servant of the club thus far IMO, and may well be for another year or more to come.

I think they said he'll be out for 2 weeks. I don't think they'll play him back in the 2nds when he's fit again, would raise a serious amount of eyebrows if they did.
