We are consistently slaughtered by the larger forwards , all our options are to small.
We have a 3rd year , 1st round pick (8) who isn't big enough to play in the Ruck , who around the ground has no idea about leading for the football and is a serious risk of becoming a waste of a pick !
Vickery to defence , let's make it happen and help this blokes development .

Unique idea PTF. But is he accountable? Does he have the strength to go with a monster forward? I think he just isn't built for it. Not to mention he is useless in marking contests. Roaming forward/relief ruckman or NOTHING at this stage. We need to get Post back into some form as he is the only one with the height, strength and marking contest abilities to play on a monster forward.

Today was his first bad game this year.

I really can't understand the criticism of Ty on these boards, I really think his development is coming along nicely.

As for putting him in defense i really can't see that as a good idea. Our tall backs were pretty good today when they had a chance, most of North's scores seemed to come from Richmond turnovers in the middfield putting the defence under pressure and out of position. Plus Petrie just had an awesome day out.

Up until this week i thought Vickery was going alright, learning his new role as a tall forward option but todays game was not his best.

There could be some merit in moving him back and getting some accountability into his game. He could just be the key defender we are screaming for (he certainly isnt the ruckman).

I agree with all this except for moving him to defence. Today was further evidence for Graham being our first (and pretty much only)option as 1st ruck this season. He was pretty good, TV had a shocker but it happens.... Happens to Edwards most weeks
