The cameras didn't capture it that well but Lynch bowled Solomon over as well about 10 seconds before putting Zantuck on his arse.

Essendon supporters will claim that Zantuck merely slipped, and it had nothing to do with Quinten Lynch's efforts. We were a physically dominant team last night, and there was more than one example of it.

3 players running for the ball, Drew Banfield, Daniel Chick and Andrew Lovett. All 3 go for it, Lovett becomes the meat between the Eagle sandwich, gets crushed, and Banfield and Chick clash heads awkwardly. The Eagle boys get straight up, ready to inflict more pain, while Lovett misses the rest of the game, obviously distressed by the scars of battle.

We are becoming physically intimidating I feel, especially at the House of um....Pain!!! Subi is a fortress where I'm sure no team wants to travel to, unless they're playing Freo.

I don't have a problem with people taking the ********...what I had a problem with was you thinking we were physically smashed or intimidated. We were first to the ball nearly the whole night, what Zantuck did was stupid (although he did look to slip) and funny (injury aside), but I don't for a second he will be scared to square up to Lynch next time we play.

Slipped, yeah...okay. You might want to look at that replay again. He jumped a little in to Lynch, and when Lynch brushed him off, the force propelled his shoulders back. You might call that a slip, I call that getting owned.
