Now isn't this boy a find! I had my doubts about him early on but he really has come on and stepped up to the plate this year.
A few weeks back he stepped out of his weight division and kept Kent Kingsley goalless. Last Friday, he kept Lloyd to just 2 goals.
When he is pushed forward, he often has the happy knack of finding the ball - a very handy trait up forward! If only his conversion was better, we could have a Bradshaw like forward on our hands. His kicking technique isn't that bad, so this could be something to be worked on.
He also has a bit of size and pace about him and may be able to also be given a run in the midfield. He could use his size to also knock the opposition around a little bit. All he needs to do is learn to plant both feet before cleaning someone up with a hip and shoulder (if you hadn't noticed, this is what Byron Pickett does and why he is so effective at it!).
All this from someone taken at pick 78 (?) in the draft!
