Also, the Northern Bullants vs. Oakleigh game next Saturday has been move to Preston City Oval from Zwar Park. The match will be played as a Curtain Raiser to the Northern Bullants vs. Geelong VFL TV game.

yea man just the u18 ammo league. Ive heard that its 3 from each team go represent the u18 ammo team and play against some team in new zealand
 
Are the clubs asked to nominate players or does the league pick the 3 players from each team? Haven't heard anything about it.
 
Big game this weekend between UHS-VU and St. Bernards

I think Bernards will come home with the win, had a strong finish to the season, and also beat UHS-VS at Brens Oval with only 15 players.
Will be the defining match to see who will take 3rd spot on the ladder.
 
game is gonna be good. being a curtain raiser to the telecasted Bullants vs Geelong VFL game the crowd may begin to role in towards the end.
 
How can the 18s scribe tip Bedes over Therry by 10 goals? On ladder position it would look that way, but Bedes are obviously not travelling too well, losing the last 4 games on the trot to the likes of Marys, Uni and Camberwell. And Therry have come off 2 very good games, a 7 point loss to Oakleigh and a win over Camberwell. Not to mention that Bedes are one of the teams that Therry have beaten.

Agree. if the 18s scribe ever got down to a game to watch then he'd know what he's on about.. Bedes very much struggling at the moment. Would love to see Therry roll em this weekend!

Good win this morning by St. Bernard's over UHS-VU

St. Bernards - 8. 8. - 56
UHS-VU - 3. 5. - 23

Conditions were horrible, was a very blustery day, but pleased with the win.

This now puts us (SBC) into third position with one round remaining, with a tough match against Oakleigh to follow.


Any other news on the scores for the day?

with that result it means the finals 4 are basically set in stone:
Oakleigh
Northern Bullants
St.Bernards (3rd and 4th will most likely swap)

Old Camberwells 19s had a forfeit, so without checking the names on the net or whatever, it would appear they would have been filled with Under 19 players. Camberwell are not 100 points better than St.Marys.

The umpires were extremely strict on every rule, and ideally you would like them to let the play go a bit more. But they were consistent and thats all you can ask for. If you think that was why you lost mate your kidding yourself.

Yes Old Camberwell did drop some of their Under 18s who had been playing
in the Under 19s to give them a further run pre finals. However in the 3 games played against St Mary's this season the combined margin has been 196 points in favour of Old Camberwell & St Mary's only beat Old Camberwell due to the fact that Old Camberwell had to forfeit due to lack of numbers resulting from injuries, illness & unavailability. So maybe on their day Old Camberwell is 100 points better than St Mary's.
 
i think that the Joe Morsello(the guy that writes in the record) clearly has no idea what he is talking about. all he does is name the top 2 in the best and with hes tips just shows he doesnt know what hes talking about. what a w***er

Anyone that thinks the the final 4 is set in stone obviously can't count or work out percentage. If SBMT defeats St Marys and OC defeat UHS-VU, SBMT will be in the finals and UHS-VU will be out.
OC lost to UHS-VU at the zoo by only 2 points and then lost to UHS-VU at home by 33 points with only 17 players.
There's a bit to play for this week and I expect the final four is nowhere near done and dusted.
 
i dont think it matters who finishes 4th because they are going to go nowhere anyway. 3rd or 4th arent going to get close to bullants or oakleigh there a division above the rest
